BEIJING, Apr. 25 (Xinhua) -- SEPCOIII Electric Power Construction Corporation (SEPCOIII), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Power Construction Corporation of China, lately won bidding for 12-year operation and maintenance of the 1230MW integrated cycling gas-fired power plant in Haveli, Pakistan.
National Power Parks Management Company Limited (NPPMCL) in Pakistan, owner of the power plant, has signed operation and maintenance contract with SEPCOIII in Lahore.
The Haveli 1230MW gas-fired power plant consists of two gas turbines, two heat recovery boilers, and one turbo set. GE provides 9H turbines for the plant, which adopts the world leading turbine technology.
The operation of Haveli gas-fired power plant would make SEPCOIII the first domestic company in China with 9H turbine operation and maintenance experience, which is expected to expand presence of Power Construction Corporation of China in international power operation market.
