BEIJING, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- The Shanghai Pudong Software Park, a national software base, yesterday launched an online incubation platform and a professional finance center to better serve startups.
The online platform can serve more than 300 startups annually, 10 times more than the current number, including overseas startups which aim to penetrate the domestic market.
The platform and the center offer resources and services in venture capital, law and auditing as well as other related services. The professional center in Zhangjiang of the Pudong New Area becomes an offline community for investors and startups.
“As one of the earliest and top incubation bases nationwide, we plan to establish a better platform for startups and investors. It’s also a strategic part for Shanghai to establish a global innovation center,” said Zhang Sulong, general manager of the software park.
The park has attracted 2.5 billion yuan (US$359 million) since its debut in 2009. (Shanghai Daily)
