HO CHI MINH CITY, Aug. 8 (Xinhua) -- The 2017 International Medical, Hospital & Pharmaceutical Exhibition will be held here on Aug. 17-19, with the participation of over 250 firms.
Pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, cosmetics, functional food and other relevant products will be displayed by the companies from 22 countries and regions, including China, India, Japan, the United States, France and Germany, the Ho Chi Minh City Medical Equipment Association said on Tuesday.
During the three-day expo, seminars on the Vietnamese healthcare market and policies, and a fact-finding tour to a hospital in Ho Chi Minh City will also be held.
Vietnam is home to 50 medical equipment producers which supply the local market with some 600 products.
Vietnam's medical equipment market is currently valued at 465.4 million U.S. dollars, according to the European Chamber of Commerce in the country. Enditem
