HANOI, March 22 (Xinhua) -- Toyota Vietnam is calling 360 cars to repair and replace the Electrical Control Unit (ECU) electrically controlling back door opening/closing, according to the Vietnam Competition Authority (VCA) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade on Wednesday.
According to the VCA, the recall is applied to models of Lexus RX200t and Lexus RX350 sold in Vietnam and manufactured in the period from 2015 to 2016, reported Vietnam's state-run news agency VNA.
The recall will last until the end of Dec. 5, 2017 at Toyota Lexus outlets throughout Vietnam.
In February 2017, a total of 3,579 Toyota cars were sold in Vietnam, up 51 percent year-on-year, said the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers' Association. Enditem
