China 22MCC Group Corporation Ltd. (MCC22) kicked off the 2×60 hole coking engineering project of the Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park 3.5 million-tonne steel and iron project in Malaysia on Jan. 12.
Located in the Malaysia-China Industrial Park of Kuantan city, the capital of Pahang State, Malaysia, the project involves construction of a coking factory with an annual coke production volume of 1.1 million tonnes, including two 60-hole coke ovens, auxiliary coal tower, coke quenching tower, coke breeze sedimentation basin, coke wharf, coal preparation, coke disposal, gas purification and dry quenching, as well as auxiliary and administrative living and storage facilities.
