Chinese power project contractor - China National Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. (CNEEC) has integrated all generating sets at Vitebsk hydropower station in Belarus with power grids by Dec. 21, 2016.
CNEEC completed integration of the first generating set with power grids just on December 1, 2016.
The Vitebsk hydropower station is expected to be completed and operational from 2017. Its installed generating capacity is 40,000 kw and was designed to generate 132 million kWh of electricity per year.
CNEEC signed an EPC contract for the project involving a total investment of 189 million US dollars in Vitebsk of Belarus on December 27, 2010.
