The agreement was reached in a recent meeting between the Iranian Minister of Communication Mahmoud Vaezi, and the visiting Thai Minister of Digital Economy and Society Pichet Durongkaveroj.
"A document has been prepared on collaboration in IT, software, hardware and cyber security, which will be finalized in the near future," Vaezi was quoted as saying.
"The Iranian Communication Ministry has a modern research center that will help mutual development," said Vaezi, adding that Iran has seen impressive progress in online business.
Startups alone contributed to generating 100,000 jobs in the last Iranian calendar year, March 2016 to March 2017, he noted. Enditem
