VLADIVOSTOK, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) - China Economic Information Service (CEIS), an economic information provider under Xinhua News Agency, on Wednesday inked a cooperation agreement with Russia’s Far East Investment and Export Agency in Vladivostok during the 3rd East Russia Economic Forum.
Under the agreement, both parties would launch deep cooperation in data sharing, think-tank research, project release, economic information exchange based on the Xinhua Silk Road, an economic information service platform established by CEIS, in an effort to promote investment and economic trade between China and Russia.
The Far East Investment and Export Agency, supervised by the Ministry for the Development of the Russia Far East, focuses on attracting new investors in the Far Eastern Federal District of Russia and providing assistance in the implementation of investment projects.
CEIS is a wholly-owned company of Xinhua News Agency, and undertakes Xinhua’s comprehensive economic information service, including economic information collection, processing, marketing, and customer services.
Xinhua Silk Road is a national information service platform focusing on the Belt and Road Initiative. By constructing four service systems, including databases in Chinese and English, credit investigation, counseling and think tank, matchmaking trading, it provides customers with information searching and release, information screening, personalized counseling, and matchmaking trading services related to Belt and Road construction.
