BERLIN, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- The index of import prices in Germany rose slightly by 0.3 percent in November year on year, official data showed on Thursday.
According to the Federal Statistical Office Destatis, this was the first increase of a yearly rate of change since November 2012.
In October and in September 2016, the annual rates of change were respectively minus 0.6 percent and minus 1.8 percent, Destatis reported.
Compared to the index in October, the index in November saw an increase of 0.7 percent.
In addition, the index of export prices were also up by 0.3 percent compared to the same month last year. The annual rates of change in October and September were respectively minus 0.1 percent and minus 0.6 percent.
