BEIJING, Dec. 21 (Xinhua) -- The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) recently signed cooperation framework agreements with a handful of cities and regions in west China to promote the construction of modern comprehensive transportation hubs.
The cities and regions include Chongqing, Urumqi and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Kunming and Yunnan province, and Chengdu and Sichuan province.
Earlier, NDRC joined hands with a number of cities in central and east China, such as Guangzhou, Wuhan, and Zhengzhou, to build comprehensive transportation hubs. Enditem (Edited by Ma Xin, maxin11@xinhua.org)
