WUHAN, Dec. 12 (Xinhua) -- A cargo train loaded with locally made products such as auto parts and electronic devices left Wuhan, capital city of central China's Hubei province on Dec. 8, which will travel across the territory of Russia for Germany.
The Wuhan-Manzhouli-Europe cargo train will cross border via the Manzhouli port in Inner Mongolia, traversing Russia and passing by Belarus and Poland before reaching Germany, with the whole route totaling about 12,000 kilometers.
Sources with the Wuhan Asia-Europe Logistics Co., Ltd. (WAE) said that goods carried by the train will be distributed to all parts of Europe from Germany. Meanwhile, stop stations have been set up in Russia and Poland where some of the goods can be unloaded.
The cargo train carried 41 containers of goods, including automobiles parts, medical equipment, garment, machinery spare parts and electronic products.
At present, 12 railway lines are in operation for block trains from Wuhan to Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic and countries in Central Asian.
