TIANJIN, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has completed research work for China's intelligent network vehicle technology roadmap under Made in China 2025, which lays down foundation for the country's smart vehicle development, according to Zhu Hongren, former chief engineer with the MIIT.
Traditional vehicle companies as well as internet companies have all marched into smart vehicle sector and laid down their strategy and future development plans in recent years, Zhu said, speaking at the 2016 International Forum (TEDA) on Chinese Automotive Industry Development held in Tianjin.
Under the roadmap, intelligent network vehicle technology would develop towards intelligent direction and networking direction in the future, Zhu said. (Edited by Niu Huizhe, niuhuizhe@xinhua.org)
