China, ASEAN to hold joint meeting on DOC implementation -- China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) will hold the 22nd Joint Working Group meeting on the Implementation of the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the South China Sea (DOC) on Aug. 30 in Manila, the Philippines. China highlights information sharing in future copyright law enforcement -- China's top legislators on August 28 reviewed a report on the enforcement of the Copyright Law. The report suggests information sharing between law enforcement and justice departments should be strengthened to protect copyrights. The report, compiled by a group of inspectors organized by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), the country's top legislature, advised governments at all levels to establish a nationwide system for copyright registration.

China securities regulator supports mixed ownership reform -- China's securities regulator will continue to support the mixed ownership reform of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) within its responsibilities in the future, a spokesperson said Friday.
For such reforms of SOEs involving initial public offerings, refinancing or mergers and acquisitions, the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) will give full support based on laws and regulations, spokesperson Chang Depeng said at a press conference.

The two sides have agreed on further deepening integration of China's "21st Century Maritime Silk Road" Initiative with Indonesia's "Global Maritime Fulcrum" strategy so as to pressing ahead with bilateral trade, investment and major project cooperation, MOC spokesman Gao Feng said at a regular press conference.
