BEIJING -- China became a principal investor in the Middle Eastin 2016, with a total investment of 29.5 billion US dollars, accounting for 31.9 percent of the total investment from non-Arab countries, according to areport released by the Arab Investment and Export Credit Guarantee Corporation.
