BEIJING -- The year 2017 is being labeled as “Year of China” for the BRICS mechanism as many cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou, have successively hosted several BRICS meetings, including the 7th Meeting of BRICS Trade Ministers, 2nd Meeting of the BRICS Industry Ministers and 7th Meeting of BRICS High Representatives for Security Issues.
