Qingdao Haier to take over PML for USD48.61 mln -- Qingdao Haier Co.,Ltd. announced on June 20 that it planned to take over Fisher & Paykel Production Machinery Limited for 48.61 million US dollars from Fisher & Paykel Appliances Limited via its overseas subsidiary. Fisher & Paykel Appliances Limited is a subsidiary of Qinghdao Haier’s parent company.
Boai Nky Pharmaceuticals mulls to buy BioVision, Inc. -- Boai Nky Pharmaceuticals Ltd. announced lately that it has signed a framework agreement with THE YAN AND ZHANG REVOCABLE FAMILY TRUST, shareholder of BioVision, Inc on taking over 100 percent equity in BioVision. BioVision, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco Bay Area in U.S., develops, produces, and sells reagents for scientific researches.

China’s East Hope Group to set up plant in India – China’s East Hope Group is going to invest more than 300 million U.S. dollars to set up a plant in the port city Mundra in India. According to the memorandum of cooperation inked with India’s Adani Group, East Hope Group would use the plant to produce solar power generating equipment, chemicals, aluminum and animal feed.
China's State Grid completes purchase of Greek power grid operator stake -- The State Grid Corporation of China, the country's biggest utility, said on June 21 that it has completed purchase of a 24-percent stake in Greece's power grid operator, ADMIE. The 320-million-euro deal marks another major investment by the State Grid in Europe after buying stakes of power grid companies in Portugal and Italy.
Chinese gaming companies show latest products at E3 -- Chinese gaming companies showcased their latest products at the annual Electronic Entertainment Expo, or E3, held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 13-15. NetEase Games, China's second largest gaming company, showcased an English demo version of its new war massive-multiplayer online game "Conqueror's Blade" at E3. China Eastern Air sells part of its freight business -- China Eastern Air Holding Co on June 19 has sold part of its freight business, Eastern Air Logistics Co, to four private firms including Legend Holdings Corp, Global Logistic Properties Ltd, China Deppon Logistics Co Ltd and Chinese real estate developer Greenland Holdings Corp. The move aims to help Eastern Air Logistics Co to transform into a comprehensive logistics provider. After the equity transaction, China Eastern Air Holding will retain a 45 percent stake in Eastern Air Logistics Co.
