A famous consumer brands-themed event is scheduled to kick off in Baoji City, northwest China's Shaanxi Province on November 4.
Hosted by China Economic Information Service (CEIS) with support from the Industry and Information Technology Department of Shaanxi Province, the event, namely, the Famous Consumer Brands Achievement Fair, aims to bring together famous consumer brands from regions participating in Belt and Road cooperation, promote the deep integration of advanced manufacturing and modern services, and further enhance the influence of Chinese brands.
It is noted that the fair will feature achievements showcases, project presentations and opinion exchanges. The "Shaanxi Treasures" brand elevation communication project will also be launched at the event.
During the session showcasing high-quality Belt and Road cooperation in famous consumer brands, representatives from Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Ningxia, Xinjiang and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps will present their famous consumer brands, displaying new achievements in regional brand building.
Other supporting activities will also be held, including a research and exchange program on the high-quality development of time-honored historic industries.
In recent years, China has vigorously promoted development of the consumer goods industry. According to a circular released by ministries including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in August this year, the country aims to cultivate a group of world-class enterprises and renowned brands by 2030, moving the industry toward the medium-high end of the global value chain.
