Air China flight CA913 landed at Franjo Tudman Airport in the Croatian capital of Zagreb at 9:46 am local time on September 4, marking the launch of the new route connecting Beijing, Bucharest and Zagreb. The inaugural flight crew was warmly welcomed at Zagreb's airport.

An Airbus A330-200 aircraft flies the 15-hour-plus flight every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Bucharest observes Eastern European Summer Time (UTC+2), five hours behind Beijing, and Zagreb follows Central European Summer Time (UTC+1), six hours behind Beijing.
China National Aviation Holding Corporation Limited, a central State-owned civil aviation enterprise, keeps expanding its China-Europe air network.
