September 11, 2026

Abstract : When the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) commenced on Wednesday, a thematic exhibition on financial services drew crowds of people to experience the latest AI-enabled applications.

BEIJING, Sept. 11 (Xinhua Silk Road) -- When the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) commenced on Wednesday, a thematic exhibition on financial services drew crowds of people to experience the latest AI-enabled applications.

At Shougang Park in Beijing, 75 Chinese and foreign financial institutions including 53 Fortune Global 500 companies and other industry leaders gathered at the site for this year's CIFTIS to highlight the future of finance.

-- A stylish experience zone debuts this year

Different from the past sessions, the 2026 thematic financial services exhibition features separate spaces for the main exhibition and a future-facing financial experience zone.

The main exhibition zone, covering approximately 12,700 square meters, brings together banks, insurers, securities brokers, fund firms, and payment and settlement institutions with latest AI-related outcomes.

In the nearly 1,000-square-meter experience zone, a financial carnival integrating cutting-edge technology, trendy culture and immersive interactions and entertainment is underway.

For instance, many financial institutions have collaborated with trendy brand operators to create diversified scenarios serving people's livelihood including shopping, catering and hotel booking.

Via showcasing innovative applications in digital payment, smart contracts, and cross-border consumption, visitors to the 2026 CIFTIS can feel in-person the transformative changes of financial services brought by AI.

In the marketplace of the experience zone, characteristic experiencing options are currently available for visitors to interact with the lifelike digital humans or try the AI-enabled smart shopping, one-click digital currency payment and smart red envelops.

Within the exhibition zones for financial services, a host of Chinese and foreign financial institutions have come to present their latest AI applications this year.

Cutting-edge applications on display include large language models (LLMs), intelligent risk control and anti-fraud systems, AI-enabled investment consultant and companion-like wealth management, and smart digital currency payment.

Alfa-Bank, operator of the largest digital financial assets platform A-Token in Russia, brings its homegrown generative AI platform AlfaGen. Its digital innovation and AI-driven bank solutions have won multiple industry awards from professional organizations in Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

Among Chinese financial exhibitors, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) exhibits its smart decision-making AI model, which helps realize second-level responses in core business scenarios such as credit screening and risk alerting.

At the booth of Agricultural Bank of China (ABC), the lender debuts a credit card product co-branded with Kimi, an AI assistant developed by Moonshot AI, a leading AI enterprise in China. The exhibit shows how advanced technologies, including AI, empower financial risk control.

By combining satellite remote sensing, drones, the Internet of Things and geospatial AI technologies, ABC's integrated monitoring platform that has already been applied in a member nation of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) not only facilitates its cross-border project supervision and dynamic risk control, but also helps reduce its due diligence costs abroad.

China Construction Bank has built a sensible and interactive smart financial space this year to showcase in-depth applications of AI models in scenarios such as client service, risk control and digital humans.

All of these provide a panoramic view of how AI has become deeply integrated into the entire financial services chain.
