A newly launched sea turtle shelter in Sanya, south China's Hainan Province, is advancing marine wildlife protection efforts from rescue and rehabilitation to breeding and scientific conservation. Officially opened on World Turtle Day, the 388-square-meter facility at Atlantis Sanya features rehabilitation pools, breeding beaches and an educational exhibition hall, forming a full-cycle protection system for endangered sea turtles.
