TASHKENT, Feb. 13 (Xinhua Silk Road) -- China's energy equipment manufacturer TBEA has signed a package of agreements with Uzbekistan's state-owned hydropower producer Uzbekhydroenergo JSC on modernizing three hydroelectric plants recently.
According to Uzbekhydroenergo JSC, the agreements stipulate a comprehensive upgrade aiming at enhancing the installed capacity, optimizing overall efficiency of these hydropower plants. The modernization process will encompass the renewal of control systems, technological infrastructure, and other critical components.
Upon completion, the total installed capacity of the three plants is projected to increase from 27.4 MW to 32.4 MW, generating an additional 52.80 million kWh of electricity annually.
