February 09, 2026

Abstract : An event promoting the winter tourism routes and products from China was held on Friday at the China Cultural Center in Mongolia's capital of Ulan Bator.

ULAN BATOR, Feb. 7 (Xinhua) -- An event promoting the winter tourism routes and products from China was held on Friday at the China Cultural Center in Mongolia's capital of Ulan Bator.

Hosted by China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Chinese Embassy in Mongolia, and organized by the China Cultural Center in Ulan Bator and the Mongolian Tourism Association, the event attracted nearly 100 participants, including representatives from tourism departments of China and Mongolia and travel agency heads.

This specially designed winter itinerary deeply integrates traditional festival cultural elements, aiming to provide Mongolian tourists with an in-depth journey that combines visual appeal, experiential engagement, and emotional resonance.

In his speech, Badral, a representative of the Mongolian Tourism Association, said that China has always been one of the most popular outbound travel destinations for Mongolian tourists.

The newly launched itineraries are even more tailored to the interests and habits of Mongolian tourists and are expected to further boost the popularity of travel to China, he added.

The event also featured a cultural experience zone, showcasing Chinese ice and snow tourism photography and traditional Spring Festival decorations, allowing guests to experience the visual beauty and cultural charm of winter in China up close.
