BEIJING, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- The State Grid Xinxiang Power Supply Company in central China's Henan Province has launched a series of inspections on grid infrastructure to ensure power supply safety during winter season.
Professional staff from the company have carried out comprehensive checks on power lines and electrical equipment, and thoroughly investigated potential safety risks across its service area in accordance with seasonal electricity demand and residents' needs. Any safety hazards identified during the inspections have been addressed promptly.
The company has also worked to strengthen public awareness of safe electricity use and energy conservation in winter by visiting customers and handing out informative brochures.
Technical teams have visited key enterprise users in the area to carry out equipment inspections and temperature measurements on both the grid side and the customer side to eliminate potential power use risks.
