The exhibits of Yifeng County covered more than 50 pieces in eight categories, including root carving artworks, bamboo handicrafts, tea, spicy sauce, etc. The diverse exhibits caught the attention of some international students. A Russian international student gently touched the texture of a root carving artwork, saying that these wooden carvings are like living beings, with each pattern telling a story.
A Pakistani international student was deeply attracted by the bamboo handicrafts. When he learned that the fan in his hand was made of bamboo, he was amazed and repeatedly asked about the artistic technique.
The strong spicy flavor of Yifeng spicy sauce and the mellow aroma of Yifeng tea also made the international students intoxicated.
The four-day event not only provided opportunities for international students to have close contact with and understand traditional Chinese culture, but also showcased the cultural charm of Yifeng and promoted cultural exchanges.
