BEIJING, March 12 (Xinhua) -- In east China's Fujian province where private economy thrives, State Grid Fujian Electric Power has gained widespread applause for its innovative power services that enable high-quality growth of private businesses.
Under its "Dual Satisfaction Project" dedicated to helping optimize local power-related business environment and winning satisfaction from businesses, the regional grid operator worked on integrating power services with water, gas and internet accessing and financial services to better facilitate transformation of local companies.
For instance, the company rolled out plans together with six local authorities on tackling joint applications for electricity, water, gas and internet accessing and expanded the public service counters to 573 by the end of 2024 to tackle such applications.
By setting up power stations in 23 state-level industrial parks in Fujian, it managed to discover power accessing need ahead of operation of investment projects in the parks and popularize its "opening with concurrent electricity accessing" services there.
The company also devised a series of electricity data-based financial products to allow local companies to pay electricity bills with their acceptance bills, letters of credit, etc.
Notably, State Grid Fujian Electric Power formed credit reports for business entities based on their power consumption and electrictiy fee payment, which helped them gain uncredited loans from financial institutions.
Via these innovative services, State Grid Fujian Electric Power helped local businesses access financial services of 20.58 billion yuan last year.
