Abstract : The Fourth Cambodia-China Cultural Exchange Forum was held in Beijing on Monday, with experts sharing views on promoting cultural exchanges and people-to-people connectivity between the two countries.

BEIJING, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- The Fourth Cambodia-China Cultural Exchange Forum was held in Beijing on Monday, with experts sharing views on promoting cultural exchanges and people-to-people connectivity between the two countries.

The forum also premiered documentaries showcasing bilateral cooperation and cultural exchange, and reviewed the achievements of the Cultural Exchange Network of Cambodia and China over the past three years.

A key highlight of the forum was the release of a report on the perceptions of Cambodian youth regarding cultural exchanges between the two countries, which has provided theoretical and data-driven reference for strengthening the friendly ties between the two nations.

According to the report, knowing Chinese language is considered to be a useful foreign language skill for getting employed among Cambodian youth, who also see China as an ideal destination for studying abroad.

During the event, Chinese experts emphasized the importance of using technology to share more stories about bilateral cooperation across media platforms, encouraging businesses to engage themselves in cross-cultural communication through overseas projects.

Cambodian scholars also highlighted the role of digital and green innovation in enhancing China-Cambodia partnership, calling for further efforts in talent training and academic cooperation, in a bid to achieve mutual benefits through deepened cooperation in various fields.
