BEIJING, Dec. 4 (Xinhua) -- Shanghai's Huangpu District presents a three-episode documentary series themed on ESG (environmental, social and governance) practice of foreign-funded enterprises in the district. Aiming to showcase the outstanding achievements of foreign companies in Huangpu and enhance the understandings and practices of enterprises towards sustainable development, the videos illustrate the successful cases of foreign firms practicing ESG principles in China, and explain the significance of ESG in building a greener, more responsible and more efficient business world.
This episode primarily explores how foreign-funded enterprises in Huangpu harness the influence of their headquarters to effectively promote the concept of ESG.
