BEIJING, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- State Grid staffs on Saturday carried out comprehensive inspections on the power supply devices and transmission lines in the Garden Expo park in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality, as the park was getting ready for hosting a variety of folk activities during the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival holiday.
With boats rowing on the lake and tour buses shuttling along the roads, the park requires power supply for plenty of its electrical equipment. State Grid staffs conducted special safety inspection on the switching station and power distribution room, and explained in detail the safety precautions and basic troubleshooting and maintenance methods, vowing to provide customized power services that meet user demands.
During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, major scenic spots and cultural venues in Chongqing are expected to launch over 300 thematic cultural and tourism activities to enrich the holiday travel experience for both locals and tourists.
To ensure power supply for the travel peak, State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company has taken the initiative to provide door-to-door services to the scenic spots, getting first-hand information on their power demands and offering timely responds to power use consultations, as a bid to ensure safe use of electricity.
For next steps, the State Grid branch will keep paying visits to key customers and continue to optimize the business environment, sort out problems found during the visits, and further improve service quality.
During the holiday, the company will continue to strengthen the monitoring and maintenance of power lines and devices and arrange special staffs on duty, striving to support the people in the city through a warm and bright Mid-Autumn Festival.
