BEIJING, July 29 (Xinhua) -- Fu Hua, president of Xinhua News Agency, met with Paolo Panerai, CEO of Class Editori, on Monday.
Noting this year marks the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Italy, Fu said Xinhua News Agency is willing to work together with Class Editori to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, further deepen media exchanges and communication, widely spread the voice of China-Italy friendly cooperation, and make positive contributions to promoting cooperation in various fields between the two countries to a new level.
Panerai said that Class Editori cherishes the friendly cooperative relationship with Xinhua News Agency and is pleased to see the continuous deepening of exchanges between the two sides. It is hoped that the two sides could strengthen communication in areas such as technological empowerment for media.
Before the meeting, Panerai visited the main building of Xinhua News Agency headquarters.
