BISSAU, July 8 (Xinhua) -- President of Guinea-Bissau Umaro Sissoco Embalo said Monday that China is an "essential and indisputable" partner in bilateral cooperation, praising China's contribution to the development of the West African country.
The two countries "have been traditional partners since the beginning of the national liberation struggle of Guinea-Bissau," Embalo said during a press briefing at Bissau airport ahead of his trip to China.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, Embalo will pay a state visit to China from Tuesday to Saturday.
