SHANGHAI, April 18 (Xinhua) -- According to the statistics from local cultural and tourism authorities, in the first two months of this year, Shanghai received 705,000 inbound visitors, up 299 percent year-on-year.

China's visa-friendly policies and measures have continuously facilitated the entry of foreign nationals and boosted people-to-people exchanges.
