BEIJING, April 7 (Xinhua) -- A cold-chain China-Europe freight train carrying 70 tonnes of chicken products and other agricultural and sideline products departed from Xuzhou, east China's Jiangsu Province on Friday, traveling 9,300 kilometers towards Moscow in 11 days.

Besides, it also marks the first batch of cold-chain foreign trade goods from Xuzhou Huaihai International Cold Chain Smart Logistics Base, further strengthening comprehensive logistics industry chain of Xuzhou China-Europe freight train, as well as opening up a new channel of foreign trade for local enterprises and boosting enterprises to go global.

Since the beginning of this year, Xuzhou has actively explored a multi-mode and diversified development pattern of China-Europe freight train, and continuously optimized the transportation plan, which greatly helped enterprises reduce costs and increase efficiency.
