BEIJING, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- The Export-Import Bank of China(EXIM)-funded new cargo terminal of Velana International Airport in the Maldives was officially put into operation recently, according to official news released by the bank.
Velana International Airport is one of the most important international airports in Maldives and is the gateway airport for visitors to and from the Maldives.
