BEIJING, Jan. 18 (Xinhua) -- China's integrated kitchen cabinets and customized furnishings producer GoldenHome Living Co., Ltd. announced Wednesday that it will construct a production base in Thailand, with a planned investment of no more than 700 million yuan, reported Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News.
According to the announcement, the project is located in Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) in Rayong province of Thailand, with a land area of about 209 mu (around 14 hectares).
GoldenHome said that this move aims to improve the company's global layout, as well as enhance its competitiveness and service capabilities of overseas markets. To further promote implementation of the company's international development strategy and better integrate into Belt and Road Initiative, the company will carry out the construction of Thailand production base in stages according to market demand and business progress.
