BEIJING, June 17 (Xinhua) -- Shaanxi Fast Auto Drive Group Co., Ltd. (Fast), through its overseas subsidiary Fast Thailand, recently delivered its first batch of locally manufactured gear reducers to customers in the Americas.
This not only marks the company's first mass production order for gear reducers in the Americas, but also represents a new milestone for Shaanxi's state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in global market expansion.
A company representative said it took just over three months from receiving the order to completing localized production and delivery, demonstrating Fast's strong market responsiveness and global competitiveness.
As a pioneer among Shaanxi SOEs entering the Southeast Asian market, Fast Thailand began supplying Volvo UD trucks in 2013 and has since built a strong local management system and a skilled Thai workforce. The team is now capable of assembling over 30 model types of products, including transmissions, electric drive assemblies, and gear reducers.
Fast Thailand has established a marketing network covering ASEAN and India, contributing valuable experience to Fast's global strategy.
Founded in 1968, Fast ranks first in China's gear industry for 22 consecutive years and leads the world in heavy-duty truck transmission production and sales. Fast continues expanding its global footprint under the Belt and Road Initiative, with its products being exported to over 50 countries and regions.
