BEIJING, Dec. 22 (Xinhua) -- Residents of Xiaokunshan Town in Songjiang District, Shanghai expressed their satisfaction for the new homes and hope for the future when results of a random draw allocation for new houses were announced recently, as part of a relocation and resettlement project involving 1546 households in the town.
The fourth phase of the project consists of two residential communities, with a total of 4,372 apartments, and is scheduled to be delivered in May 2024, according to a WeChat post released by Songjiang District's official account.
Xiaokunshan Town has held the latest standards and solicited residents’ opinions during the construction of the new houses, providing various types of housing to meet diversified needs.
Meanwhile, infrastructure has been built in the neighborhood, such as banks, supermarkets, and kindergartens to ensure residents’ access to daily life services. Songjiang District will also build schools for children with special needs to offer them high-quality education.
