BEIJING, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) -- China Economic Information Service (CEIS) is willing to utilize its resource advantages to assist more Chinese brands in participating in international competition and help Chinese enterprises achieve better development in high-level opening up, said Xu Yuchang, chairman of the CIES, on Tuesday at the sub-forum of the fifth World Media Summit (Yunnan, China) and the second Yunnan International Communication Forum.
In his speech, Xu pointed out that Chinese enterprises have already entered the vast world market. With profound changes in the global economic landscape, Chinese enterprises need more effective global communication to create international images, enhance international influence, and expand international cooperation, which marks an important component of the internationalization efforts of Chinese companies.
CEIS is a professional provider of economic information and services directly under Xinhua News Agency, which has been tracking and studying the strategies and development paths of enterprise brand internationalization for a long time.
Monitoring data from its independently developed "Xinhua Silk Road" multilingual database shows that in the first 11 months of this year, overseas media and market attention to economic information about Chinese enterprises focused mainly on new developments in fields such as the internet, telecommunications, finance, software and information technology, pharmaceuticals, and automotive manufacturing. Attention was also given to Chinese enterprises' new products, new technologies, new business models, as well as to their financial performance, market layout, and international cooperative projects.
An increasing number of Chinese enterprises are taking the initiative to update their latest information through overseas social media. They also continuously strengthen the integration of brand culture with local cultures and showcase social responsibility and humanitarian care.
Xu stated that facing potential difficulties encountered by Chinese enterprises in the global communication, CEIS is able to provide enterprises with services such as communication platforms, think tank consulting, and multilingual communication, effectively aiding the international development of enterprises and image shaping of international brands.
The fifth World Media Summit (Yunnan, China), co-hosted by Xinhua News Agency and People's Government of Yunnan Province, is held from December 4 to 8, with more than 300 representatives from over 80 media, international organizations, and other institutions from nearly 30 countries and regions around the globe in attendance.
