SHENYANG, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) -- State Grid Liaoning Electric Power Supply Co., Ltd. recently started construction of a 220 kV power transmission and transformation project in Dandong, a coastal city in north China’s Liaoning Province.
With a total investment of 309 million yuan, the project will build a 220kV power transformation station and 105.6km transmission lines. As a pilot for intelligent power transformation station, it will be equipped with chips that are developed by the State Grid.
State Grid Dandong Electric Power Supply Company, a subsidiary of State Grid Liaoning, planned to increase its investment in 2023 by 103 percent from a year ago to 832 million yuan in order to improve local grid structure and enhance power supply, said the company.
