November 02, 2023

Abstract : The 2023 Forum on Economic Development Along New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and International Logistics Fair was held on Wednesday in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.

BEIJING, Nov. 2 (Xinhua) -- The 2023 Forum on Economic Development Along New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor and International Logistics Fair was held on Wednesday in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.

As an international exchange platform jointly created by Chongqing Port and Logistics Office and Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation, the forum aims to consolidate consensus and expand cooperation among countries and regions along the corridor, and provide new inspiration and inject new impetus to the further development of the corridor.

The event has invited government officials from countries along the corridor, relevant officials from the United Nations and other international organizations, representatives from enterprises, as well as well-known experts to discuss the development of the corridor.

It is learned that the forum will be held annually in Chongqing.

Launched in 2017, the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor is a trade and logistics passage jointly built by provincial-level regions in western China and ASEAN members. The corridor now covers 18 provinces and 69 cities in China, and its reach has been expanded to 473 ports in 120 countries and regions.
