BEIJING, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- The delivery ceremony and the first exhibition countdown of the Jinan Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center was held on October 7 in Jinan, capital of east China's Shandong Province, which marks the completion of the project's first phase construction, enabling the center to hold an exhibition in the near future.
With the unveiling of the red silk, guests jointly launched the countdown to the first exhibition of the Jinan Yellow River International Convention and Exhibition Center. The Jinan international machine tool and intelligent manufacturing equipment exhibition will kick off here soon.
The exhibition hall is built with a steel structure glass dome over 75 meters high, just like a brilliant pearl lying near the Yellow River bank.
The total net exhibition area of the center reaches 510,000 square meters, including a net exhibition area of nearly 250,000 square meters in the first phase.
Upon completion, the exhibition center will become a world-class integrated convention and exhibition center and be capable of undertaking major international conferences.
Meanwhile, the center is expected to strongly promote the exhibition industry in Jinan to reach new heights and become a key platform to connect Jinan with the world.
