MILAN, July 25 (Class Editori) — The Italy China Council Foundation (ICCF) strengthened the bilateral relations between Italy and China with four meetings held between July 12 and 20. The institution, chaired by Mario Boselli, met with four important Chinese delegations in dedicated meetings in Milan, confirming the solid and growing ties between the two countries to strengthen trade relations and investment in the Italian supply chain.
The morning of the first day, July 12, saw the presentation of the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE), the world's first national supply chain exhibition organized in China, and the new partnership with ICCF, made possible by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), with which the Foundation has been collaborating for ten years. ICCF's main mission will be to provide opportunities for dialogue between Italian and Chinese companies and to coordinate their participation in the Expo.
In the afternoon, the "Business Promotion Conference Lishui District, Nanjing" was held. The new megacity area has a solid industrial foundation, with four chains in different fields, including smart manufacturing and home products. The plans of the Lishui delegation include a strategic interest in the Italian supply chain. The "Guangdong Pilot Free Trade Zone Promotion Seminar", organized by the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province together with ICCF, was held on July 14. The delegation supports Italian companies in their business development in the Asian market.
On July 18, the delegation from Wangjiang, in Anhui Province, presented its local business, trade and investment opportunities at the "Wangjiang Anhui China Investment and Collaboration 2023 | Promotion Seminar". The aim of the meeting was to create opportunities for dialogue with Made-in-Italy companies, particularly in the textile and clothing sector. The Chinese municipality is setting up business and financial service centers as well as fund pools to support the companies involved in the project.
Finally, on July 20, the delegation from Jiaxing, the northern city of Zhejiang Province, put the spotlight on developments in logistics, machinery and education by organizing the "Jiaxing-Milan Investment Promotion Conference". As a hub for Shanghai, Zhejiang and Jiangsu, Jiaxing is now a globally connected area with development activities in various commodity and industrial sectors. (All rights reserved)
