China's official website for BRI launches new Chinese, English stations

July 21, 2023

Abstract : The newly-revised Chinese and English stations of the Belt and Road Portal (BRP, https://eng.yidaiyilu.gov.cn), China's official website for the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), were officially launched on Thursday.

BEIJING, July 21 (Xinhua) -- The newly-revised Chinese and English stations of the Belt and Road Portal (BRP, https://eng.yidaiyilu.gov.cn), China's official website for the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), were officially launched on Thursday.

Featuring original contents, in-depth information and practical services, the revised stations highlight a series of exclusive columns, provide more abundant data and information resources, and offer accesses to more convenient and effective business services.

As a bid to better serve the needs of domestic and overseas users, the new versions of the BRP see updates in layout, design and functions, adding featured sections for focus stories, multimedia reports and specific services.

Celebrating the tenth anniversary of the BRI, this recent revision of the BRP has made use of big data and artificial intelligence technologies to improve the quality, flexibility and applicability of the website, making it an intelligent service-oriented portal that is user-centered and combines multiple functions such as news outlet, information retrieval and public services, according to a representative with the BRP.
