BEIJING, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Themed around promoting cooperation between southwest China's Guizhou Province and Israel on ecological agriculture and environmental technologies, a business matchmaking conference was held on Thursday in Guiyang, capital city of Guizhou.
Combining Israel's technological advantages in agriculture and environment sectors with Guizhou's achievements in developing ecological agriculture, the two sides are expected to jointly promote sustainable development through more in-depth exchanges of practical experience, said Gadi Harpaz, Consul-General of Israel in Chengdu at Thursday's conference, which gathered representatives of related enterprises from both Israel and Guizhou.
By promoting further cooperation in terms of agricultural irrigation technology, agro-ecological technology and talent training, the province of Guizhou is looking to integrate its featured advantageous agricultural sectors with Israel's cutting-edge technologies, in a bid to achieve win-win outcomes.
Recognizing the development potentials of Guizhou in various fields, Israel values the cooperation opportunity with the Chinese province and is looking forward to engaging in further exchanges between the two sides, according to Harpaz.
