BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhua) -- China's commercial vehicle sector logged robust growth in May, with the sales surging 38.2 percent year on year, industry data showed.
A total of 330,000 such vehicles were sold last month, according to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers.
Meanwhile, the production of commercial vehicles jumped 42.9 percent year on year in May to 322,000 units, said the association.
In the first five months of the year, China's commercial vehicle output rose 14.2 percent from the same period in 2022 to 1.63 million units, while the sales went up 13.7 percent to 1.62 million units, the data showed.
