A number of centrally-administered state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and leading private enterprises from China also participate in the event with their high-end machinery and electronic products, with the aim to create new opportunities for win-win cooperation with international enterprises from the globe.
The China's Machinery and Electronics Show (Singapore) set up four exhibition zones of infrastructure, home appliances and electronics, electric power and new energy, and industrial machinery at the show, with a total of 431 exhibition booths and covering an area of more than 8,000 square meters.
The exhibition aims to be a cooperative window to showcase China's high-end manufacturing development and foreign investment cooperation, promote trade and investment among RCEP member countries, and develop international cooperation in the whole industry chain.

He pointed out that the event is an important initiative to strengthen cooperation between China and Singapore in the fields of green industry and digital economy, as well as a positive attempt to build a high-level cooperation platform for regional industry chain and supply chain, which is of positive significance to promote two-way investment between China and Singapore and deepen regional industrial cooperation.
Alvin Tan, Singaporean Minister of State for Trade and Industry said, "Enterprises in Singapore, China and other RCEP member countries are exploring new business cooperation opportunities, especially in the fields of green development and digital economy. The Conference on International Industrial Cooperation provides a platform for an in-depth understanding of China's real economy and manufacturing industry for all sectors of society, and it is hoped that all can seize the opportunity to promote cooperation.
Zhang Xiangchen, Deputy Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), also addressed the conference via video link, saying that RCEP member countries are at different economic development stages, with their economies highly complementary, and industrial cooperation will create new space for their economic and social development.
"This event comes at the right time and will certainly deepen the international industrial chain and supply chain's exchanges and strongly promote economic and trade cooperation in RCEP member countries," said Guo Ningning, vice governor of China's Fujian Province, adding that "the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has become Fujian's largest trade and investment partner. We would like to take this conference as a new starting point and work together with ASEAN countries, including Singapore, to build quality Belt and Road."
