Porsche employees are to receive a bonus of up to €9,050 ($9,760) because of the strong results of the sports and off-road vehicle manufacturer.
The bonus for 2022 is significantly higher than the €7,900 of the previous year, a company spokeswoman said in Stuttgart.
The money is to be paid out with the April salary to employees at German locations of Porsche AG and its subsidiaries. The company says around 27,000 employees will benefit.
Porsche significantly increased its turnover and earnings in 2022. The amount of the annual special payment is based on the carmaker's key business figures, and is traditionally generous at Porsche. By way of comparison, the bonus for the past year at the parent company VW, was €3,630.
The company's executive board and works council called on Porsche employees to make donations to the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.
Last autumn, employees of Porsche AG received a special payment of up to €3,000 when the company went public.
