BEIJING, March 2 (Xinhua) -- A China-Europe freight train, loaded with 250 Haval brand commercial cars manufactured by Great Wall Motor's Taizhou Smart Factory, departed from Nanjing of east China's Jiangsu Province heading towards Almaty of Kazakhstan Tuesday, which marks the first Made-in-Jiangsu commodities China-Europe freight train launched in Jiangsu.
The train carries cargo valuing 27.63 million yuan, which will meet the needs of the consumer goods markets and economic and social development of Central Asian countries, according to zgsyb.com, a water transportation news portal affiliated to China's Ministry of Transportation.
Smooth running of this train has laid a solid foundation for better serving the export of commodity vehicles in Jiangsu Province and optimizing the whole process transportation of commodity vehicles, according to the report.
