BEIJING, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Wang Dazhi, mayor of Rushan, a county-level city in east China's Shandong Province, has warmly invited people from the world to visit Rushan recently through a program named China Recommendation.
Wang detailed the development status of Rushan city from the aspects of politics, economy, culture, and ecological civilization in his speech.
As a city with rich legacy and culture, Rushan City is also a wellness and tourism city that enjoys cool summer, and warm winter, as one of the most habitable cities for human.
Specifically, the city is home to a coastal scenic spot of Mountain Bay and Tandao Spring created by the nature, such as, Silver Beach, which stretches for 199 kilometers and is known as the most beautiful coastline in China.
The superior natural environment endowed Rushan City with 25 National Geographic Indication agricultural products, including apples, oysters, sea cucumbers, as well as prawns, ranking the first among county-level cities in China.
Located in the central hinterland of Qingdao, Yantai and Weihai, three major coastal cities in Shandong Province, Rushan is expediting the construction of green, low-carbon and high-quality development pilot area, developing offshore wind power and other new energy industries and advanced manufacturing industries, fully building a new highland for growing modern industrial cluster.
