BEIJING, Nov. 17 (Xinhua) -- BYD, China's leading new energy vehicle (NEV) manufacturer, debuted its new brand matrix with five brands on Wednesday, the Xinhua-run Shanghai Securities News reported.
These five brands are Dynasty, Ocean, Denza, Yangwang, and a new brand that specializes in professional and personalized identities.
Wang Chuanfu, chairman and president of BYD, noted that BYD will further penetrate deep into the global market and promote the internationalization of the passenger car industry.
According to Wang, BYD will continue to focus on scientific and technological innovation, and push forward the transformation of global NEV industry.
Besides, the company saw its three millionth NEV roll off assembly line on Wednesday, marking BYD as the first Chinese carmaker to achieve the milestone. (Edited by Yang Yifan with Xinhua Silk Road, yangyifan@xinhua.org)
