MINSK, Sept. 6 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian banks will connect to China's Cross-border Interbank Payment System, Belarusian First Deputy Prime Minister Nikolai Snopkov told reporters on Tuesday.
According to BelTA news agency, Belarusbank will be the first to join the system.
Belarus will also implement the UnionPay international payment system. In December, Belarusbank plans to start issuing UnionPay payment cards.
Belarusians will be able to pay with these cards in more than 100 countries, including Belarus and China, Snopkov said.
